Entering tournaments has never been faster or easier! Everest Poker offers Sit & Go Tournaments in a range of buy-ins and table sizes. Whether you're a novice or a high roller, you can join a tournament now.

What is a Sit & Go Tournament?

A Sit & Go Tournament is exactly how it sounds: The tournament starts as soon as all seats are filled! Sit & Go Tournaments run constantly all day, every day. Just pick a table and take a seat. Unlike Scheduled Tournaments, you don’t have to wait for a designated start time—the poker game starts after everyone sits down!

Types of Sit & Go Tournaments

Everest Poker offers the following Sit & Go Tournaments:

  • Single-Table. Single-Table Sit & Go's are exciting, single-table elimination tournaments. The action at Single-Table Sit & Go Tournaments can also be very fast. We offer 10-seat and 6-seat tables, as well as 2-seat Heads Up tables where winner takes all!
  • Multi-Table. If you like the idea of immediate play, but want to compete against more players, Multi-Table Sit & Go's have all the volume and competitive excitement of Scheduled Tournaments. And, with more players than Single-Table Sit & Go’s, these tournaments can deliver big payouts—not to mention that when more people play, more get paid!  Everest Poker offers the following Multi-Table Sit & Go Tournaments:
    • 18 Seats (6 seats * 3 tables)
    • 30 seats (10 seats * 3 tables)
    • 54 seats (6 seats * 9 tables)
    • 90 seats (10 seats * 9 tables)
    • 120 seats (6 seats * 20 tables)
    • 150 seats (10 seats * 15 tables)

Note that in some tournaments you can also win Tournament Tokens, which you can use to buy in to other tournaments.

Double Up and Triple Up
Your chances of winning are even better when you play Everest Poker’s Double Up and Triple Up Sit & Go tournaments.

Double Up Sit and Gos award half the field with twice the buy-in. For example, a 10-seat Double Up concludes once five players are remaining. These five players win the same amount. Triple Up S&Gs pay out the top third of the field. For example a 6 seat Triple Up concludes once two players remain. Both players win the same amount, which is equal to three times the buy-in.

Sit & Go Tournament Styles
When you register for a tournament in the Poker Lobby, you’ll see small icons identifying tournaments by their style. The following styles may apply to Sit & Go Tournaments.

  • Deep Stack: In most Everest Poker tournaments, players start out with 1,000 chips in their stack. In Deep Stack Sit & Go Tournaments, players start out with 2,500 chips.
  • Turbo: Unlike the typical 10-minute blind schedule, Turbo Sit & Go Tournaments raise the blinds and antes every 4 minutes. View the Blinds and Ante Schedule.
  • Speed: Speed Sit & Go’s give players 15-second decision timers in which to act when it is their turn. If a player doesn't act before time runs out, they will be presumed to fold or, when possible, to check.
