The EPEC 2010 Live Finale—complete with a €100,000 prize pool—is set to take place at the Gran Casino Costa Meloneras in Gran Canaria from May 21–24.
For one weekend, luxury and live poker go hand-in-hand. Travel to this upscale destination within the Canary Islands for guaranteed sunshine, seafront views, and an unforgettable tournament experience for beginners.
We’re still busy planning activities and events to accompany our €100,000 freeroll, but we can offer a taste of how you’ll spend your time in Costa Meloneras. All EPEC qualifiers will stay at the five-star Lopesan Baobab Resort.
EPEC Team Competition
This year, countries can also compete for the EPEC 2010 Title. In addition to bragging rights for a year, winners of the 2010 Everest Poker European Cup will gain recognition on our website and prizes from Everest.
Each nation’s 15-person team will work together to post the best overall performance and score. The higher you place in the Finale, the more points you earn. For example, the first person knocked out of the tournament earns one point for his or her country. The second player knocked out scores two points. If all 225 qualifiers play in the EPEC Finale this May, the first-place finisher will contribute 225 points to his or her team score.
