Everest Poker presents the Spanish Poker Tour 2009

Our players from around the world can now qualify online for the second season of the Spanish Poker Tour. Throughout 2009, Everest Poker is sponsoring eight live events in Spain’s most stunning cities, culminating in an exciting Finale in the breathtaking Costa Meloneras.

This year, we have improved our live tournament structure and the number of ways you can win your seat in an SPT tournament.

Offering first-rate competition, 60-minute blinds and tournament direction from Thomas Kremser and Gerald Serra of TK Poker Events International, the Spanish Poker Tour is fast becoming a popular destination for players throughout Europe. Each €1000 + 100 SPT Main Event takes place over three full days with players starting with 15,000 in chips.

Qualify online for the Spanish Poker Tour

You can play in an SPT Main Event for as little as $2! We’re making it possible for all our players to play for their shot at becoming champions in Spain.

You may now qualify for the Spanish Poker Tour by climbing the Everest Poker Steps. A series of progressive Sit & Go tournaments, the Steps allow you to satellite into a wide variety of events at a buy-in perfect for every bankroll.

Using your Steps tokens, there are even more ways for you to win your seat at the SPT.

• Earn Steps tokens and climb your way up to our SPT Choice Sit & Go which awards a $2500 prize package to the winner.
• If you prefer scheduled tournaments, our Step Jumpers give you all the flexibility of the Steps but allow you to make the climb faster. Choose the buy-in that works for you, register, win and jump over Step 2, 3 or 4!
• Buy in directly to an $336+24 SPT Direct Entry with a Step 5 Token or your Summit Points

• Use a Step 3 Token and win your last minute seat in an SPT Direct Entry. $30+3 Super Turbo SPT Satellites run every half hour from 10:03 GMT to 19:03 GMT before every direct entry.

SPT Direct Entries take place every Sunday and Wednesday at 20:00 GMT. We guarantee at least three players in each SPT qualifier will receive an exclusive $2500 SPT prize package, including the tournament’s €1000 + 100 buy-in, travel expenses and accommodations.

At least two players in every $336+24 SPT Gran Finale Direct Entry will receive a $6000 SPT Gran Finale prize package, including the tournament’s €3000 + 200 buy-in, travel expenses and accommodations in Gran Canaria.

Registration is simple. Just go to the Scheduled Tournaments section in the Everest Poker Lobby. Click on the Spanish Poker Tour tab and choose the satellite or online qualifier of your choice.

Throughout the Spanish Poker Tour, eligible casinos will also be running live satellites. We will keep you updated.

Qualify Live for the Spanish Poker Tour

You can always buy-in directly to any SPT stop. Each SPT tournament features a €1000 + 100 Main Event.

This year, we’ve even made it possible for you to buy-in directly to each live SPT Tournament using your Summit Points at the Summit Point Store. Simply login into your account and enter the Summit Point Store from your Account menu.*

If you do not make it to the Final Table, you can still play in three more SPT events!

Players can also buy into the two-day €300 + 30SPT Side Event, as well as a €50 + 10 Fun Event with a €50 bounty.

We are also giving you a shot to compete at the next STP Main Event. On the final day at each Tour stop, players can compete in a €150 + €15 Next Event Satellite and qualify for the next SPT tournament.

SPT Leaderboard

The more stops on the Spanish Poker Tour you play, the more you could win.

Throughout the Tour, we will be updating a leaderboard to keep track of our participants. Each stop gives a player more points, based on their final position.

Players who make the SPT Leaderboard have another chance to win in Spain. We are setting aside 3% from every SPT live event prize pool for an exclusive SPT Most Valuable Player Tournament at the SPT Gran Finale in Costa Meloneras, where the SPT Leaderboard players will turn their points into chips and play for this awesome cash prize. The winner of this tournament will be named the SPT Most Valuable Player .

Remember to visit the SPT Leaderboard throughout the Tour. We will be updating it after every stop.
