What's your educational background?
I received my bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Twente. I am now studying for the Master's degree in Marketing Communication at the University of Twente.

What are your professional goals?
Almost a year and a half ago, I started to see poker as my profession. In poker, my goal is to beat the high stakes games, to place well in the live tournaments and most importantly to keep being able to live the life that I am living right now.

How did you discover poker?
In our family playing cards was very popular. I had never played Texas Hold’em until I played my first game at the birthday party of a friend of mine. I liked the game so much that I searched the internet to find a place to play the game online. This is how I found Everestpoker.net.

How long have you been playing poker?
I have been playing since the birthday party three years ago and online for over 2.5 years.

What is your biggest poker win?
I won the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool on Mansion poker.

What is your poker philosophy/motto?
One day I will be the best of the world, till that day I will be bluffing about it.

What is your life philosophy/motto?
Just enjoy everyday I'm alive.

How would you describe yourself?
I like to try new and exciting things and I try to get everything out of my life that I can.

What advice would you give to beginner poker players?
In my opinion you can play poker in two different ways. You can see it as an entertaining game or you try to become the best in the game and beat everybody at the table. While both are good, you have to choose based on your personality.

Who is your favorite player?
My favorite player is Daniel Negreanu. Not because of his great results and his great game, but because I love the way he can entertain people.

What is your favorite music?
Soft rock and Dutch music

What is your favorite activity besides poker?
I like to hang out with my girlfriend and friends.
