What is Disconnect Bet Protection (DBP)?
-
Disconnect Bet Protection is Everest Poker's way of protecting our players against technical problems while maintaining a fair gaming environment for everyone.
If you become disconnected from our server during the course of hand, we protect your bet by treating you as "All-In" for the amount of money you currently have in the pot. This protects your investment in the hand as well as allows other players to continue betting.
Disconnect Bet Protection is only available in ring games. Please consult our Disconnect Bet Protection Policy for full details.
-
What happens if I get disconnected during a game?
-
If you get disconnected while playing in a ring game (non-tournament) the money you have already contributed to the pot may be protected by our Disconnection Bet Protection (DBP). Please consult our Disconnect Bet Protection Policy for full details.
If you get disconnected while playing in a real money tournament, your cards will be folded and blinds posted until you are able to come back to the tournament or run out of chips. In this case, exit the software immediately and log back in. If you still have chips in that tournament, the table at which you are seated will be automatically reopened for you.
For freeroll tournaments, you will be removed after five (5) hands or ten (10) minutes, depending on whichever period is longer.
Please see our complete Tournament Rules.
-
What happens if the disconnection is not on my end?
- When players
experience a temporary disconnection during a game, it is often due to reasons
that are beyond our control.
In the event of a server crash, all players are affected similarly. Everest Poker addresses these issues quickly to allow players to reconnect and keep playing. We assess the extent of the disconnection and how it affected players first. Once that is complete, our team issues refunds, when applicable, within 24 to 48 hours. If the adjustment is not made after that period of time, please contact our team with the details (date, time, description, screenshots) surrounding the disconnection and we will research the issue for you.
