At the Casino Mediterraneo in Alicante, Spain, 41 poker players from 12 nationalities, battled it out for the $75,000 (€50,000) prize pool at the Everest Poker International Cup Finale. The fifth edition of the EPIC offered amateur players a chance to experience the thrill of live poker in one of the world’s largest freerolls. Online qualifiers for this unique free promotion, featuring a total prize pool of $125,000, ran in July and August. $50,000 was awarded through online Direct Entries, and the remaining $75,000 (€50,000) was reserved for the prize pool at the EPIC Finale this weekend.

Congratulations to Hanh Tran from Austria and Goran Zoraja from Serbia who finished first and second, respectively at the final table of the Everest Poker International Cup. Hahn will take home €15,000 and Goran €10,000. Hanh Tran qualified for the Everest Poker International Cup at an exclusive live event at the Montesino Casino in Vienna, Austria.
