EPIC 2011 features a total prize pool of $125,000. Online qualifiers will run through August 29, leading up to an amazing Live Finale in Alicante, Spain from September 9–11.

The first EPIC Direct Entry: August 1
Everest Poker‘s first EPIC Direct Entry guarantees $25,000 in cash on top of 10 Live Finale Packages. Each $2,500 Live Finale Package includes a seat to the $75,000 (€50,000) EPIC Live Finale, travel money, hotel accommodations in Alicante and an invitation for two to the EPIC Welcome Party.

Free feeders and Weekly EPIC Satellites to the first Direct Entry are running until July 31. Players can also buy in directly for 25,000 Summit Points.

In total, Everest Poker will run two online EPIC Direct Entries open to players from all over the world. The second Direct Entry is scheduled for August 29, with plenty free EPIC Feeders and chances for players to qualify before then!

Everest Poker launches unique Quick Seat Lobby

LONDON, July 22, 2011 — Popular European poker site Everest Poker proudly released their brand-new Quick Seat Lobby. This unique feature is ideal for poker enthusiasts looking to find a game fast. The convenient and easy-to-use interface generates timely tournament and game recommendations based on a player’s bankroll.

The Quick Seat Lobby is divided into three sections: Cash Games, Tournaments (MTT) and Sit & Go Tournaments. Each section briefly describes the type of game players will be browsing, and includes recommendations based on the player’s current bankroll. For tournament, recommendations are based on players’ bankrolls and the time they logged in to the software. Players also have the option of filtering the results by currency and poker game.
With this software update, players can find the right game for the right buy-in in the blink of an eye.

Everest Poker Players ITM in WSOP Side Event 56

We started Event 56 of the WSOP yesterday with 30 Everest Poker qualifiers and 5 pro's from Team Everest. Our players started this $1500 tournament among a field of 3,389 hopefuls, all gunning for their shot at the coveted WSOP bracelet.

Viktoria finished the tournament in 263rd place, winning $3,200. Maria Maceiras took home her first WSOP cash of 2011 finishing 171st place and taking home $4,026.

Our Everest Poker qualifier, Yann Roudaut is the last Everest Poker player still standing in the tournament.
