Julian Kabitzke is the 2011 Everest Poker ONE Champion

Monaco, April 24, 2011. At the prestigious Salle des Palmiers in Monaco, 221 international poker players battled it out for a €1,071,850 prize pool at the first edition of the Everest Poker ONE Main Event.

Congratulations to Germany’s Julian Kabitzke and Alexander Debus, who finished first and second, respectively at the final table of the Everest Poker ONE Main Event. Julian will take home 300,000 EUR and Alexander 170,000 EUR. Joining the Germans at the final table were two Everest Poker qualifiers: Julien Pouchain from France (6th – 58,000 EUR) and all the way from Australia, Joel Dodds (3rd – 112,000 EUR).

Julian Kabitzke qualified for the Main Event at Expekt Poker and played ONE of his first live poker tournaments.

Congratulations to Tristan Clémençon (FR) for winning the Pot Limit Omaha event (1000 EUR), taking home 13,000 EUR.
Jean-Laurent Dimitri Comparetto (FR) winning the No Limit Hold’em event (1000 EUR), taking home 30,000 EUR.
David Sonelin (SE) winning the Highroller event (10,000 EUR), taking home 75,000 EUR.
And last but not least, Jean Philippe Rohr from France winning the No limit Hold’em Turbo event (500 EUR), taking home 9,600 EUR.
