Day 3 at EPT Berlin

08.04.11 @ 07:08:51 von Corina

Update 00:30

Level 22: blinds 10,000-20,000, ante 2,000
Average chip stack: 927,600

Down to 24 players of 773 starters and our Team Everest player Fabrice Soulier from France has 890,000 in chips which is a bit below average but still enough to do some damage tomorrow.

Anyway, Fabrice will at least take home Eur 20,000.

Tomorrow we will start at 13:00 instead of noon and will play until the final table is set.

-------------

Fabrice Soulier is the last remaining French player at EPT Berlin

Meanwhile Fabrice has managed to fight his way back above average and has now 992,000.
No other Frenchman has survived and Fabrice ist the last one to hold up the Tricolore.

Level 21: blinds 8,000-16,000, ante 2,000
Players: 32 of 773
Average chip stack: 682,058

------------

Update: 22:15

Blinds 8k/16k, Ante 2k
32 players left in the tournament and today we are going to play down to 24.

Poor Fabrice has been stuck at the feature table the whole day - which is over 10 hours by now. Not only are the lamps very hot and the air not exactly fresh, at the feature table you are not allowed to use your mobile phone, wear headphones and you can hardly move.

Fabrice has told us that this table is extremely aggressive and he could not find his game today. For the first time in three days is below average with currently 660,000 in chips.

---------------

Even The Monte Carlo ONE has finally been banned from the feature table

---------------

Update during the dinner break

There are 46 remaining in the tournament. We will continue with blinds of 6k/12k and an ante of 1k.

Fabrice has lost some important pots and has decreased his stack.
He is ranking 6th at the moment according to chip counts. Go Fabrice!!!!

1) Markus Grewe Germany 1.222.000
2) Anton Morgenstern Germany 1.170.000
3) Maximilian Heinzelmann Germany 1.165.000
4) Saar Wilf Israel 1.100.000
5) Alessandro Laubinger Germany 1.024.000
6) Fabrice Soulier France 974.000

Update 16:30

No new news are good news. We are down to 65 players and Team Everest player Fabrice Soulier is still chipleader with 1,514,000.

------------

There are 86 players left in the tournament and Fabrice is still chipleader!

Meanwhile he has 1,259,000 in chips. The second place player at the moment is from Lithuania and has 780,000 chips.

------------

13:00 German Team Everest player Tobias Wagner just busted!

It was pretty clear for our Tobestar11 that he had to act soon today as he was only holding 105K in chips.

Sitting on the button he has AJ and wants to seize his moment and shoves all-in. However, he receives a call from Kevin Stani who has AK.

No reason to be sad. Tobi hit the money (Eur 7,500 at EPT Berlin) in 4 out of 5 tournaments this year!!! Go Tobi!!!

--------

It is 12:30 in Berlin an we have just started into day 3 of the main event with 119 remaining players. For the first 27 minutes the blinds will stay at 2k/4k with an ante of 400 until we move on to the next level.

Fabrice Soulier has finished last night as the massive chipleader and has now been seated on the feature table in casino Berlin.

Fabrice has ca. 1,080,000 in chips whereas the second in chips has less than 600,000.

Here you can see Fabrice taking his seat at the feature table. Again the players are not allowed to wear the patches of their sponsors.

Just like Tobi Fabrice was sneaking in in his the ONE shirt

Our German Team Everest Pro Tobi is also back in Spielbank Berlin to play day 3 of the 5,000 Eur main event. Tobi has 105,000 in chips - fingers crossed everyone, double up soon!!
