Tobi eliminates Nichlas Mattson at 9th place and thus defines the Final Table for WPT Paris.
German Everest Pro Tobias Wagner made it to the final 8 of the EUR 5,000 Main Event at WPT Paris where more than 180 players have started 4 days ago.
At first Sam Trickett runs into our tobestar: Trickett pushes all-in with Ad8s and Tobias calls with AhQs. No help from the board for Trickett and Tobi doubles-up. In the next hand Tobi kicks-out former chipleader Nichlas Mattson and the final table was set. It started with a raise from French Benjamin Pollak, the Swede Nichlas Mattson reraises all-in for 141K, and then Tobias also reraises all-in – the other players fold. Mattson holds pocket 88 and Tobi shows the Aces - the board brings no change. Our Tobestar takes the pot and makes Mattson number 9 of the tournament. 187 players have started in the EUR 5,000 Regional Championship of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Paris. Now, we are down to the last ten and one them is our German Team Everest Pro Tobias Wagner, who will today fight for his seat at the final table in the Aviation Club de France. Massive chipleader is currently French Benjamin Pollak with 1,156,000 in chips. With 342,000 in chips Tobi still has a healthy stack and has his eyes set on the win!
Yesterday's day 3 started with 30 players and the bubble was to pop. Our Dutch Everest Pro Steven van Zadelhoff was pretty short at the beginning of the day already. Thus, it didn't take too long until he busted with Jacks vs. Queens. Unfortunately that was still before the bubble. Still fantastic game from Steven during this whole event!
Steven

Tobi had a better run and eliminated Jerome Zerbib from the tournament. Tobi raises UTG to 22K, Jerome pushes his remaining 90k all-in with A10. Tobias decides to call with AQ. Nothing on the board: Jerome gets to rank 11th and Tobi gets his chips.
