Many of Europe’s top poker champions battled it out for a total prize pool of €522,000, including 3LT Baden winner Tobias von Siebenthal, 3LT Warnemuende winner Pierluca Salassa, Everest Poker European Cup 2010 winner Mikael Johanssen, WSOP bracelet winners Michael Keiner and Sigurd Eskeland of the Live the Dream team, and recent Spanish Poker Tour champion Marvin Rettenmaier.
The Main Event’s top female finisher was our Everest Poker qualifier Michaela Lerch from Germany (18th–€4080)
The night before the final table, Everest organized a Players Party in the Scotch Club, welcoming all online qualifiers, sponsored players and journalists to the 3LT Grand Final.
This year, the 3 Länder Poker Tour (3LT) debuted as the first poker tour held in the three German-speaking countries. The 3LT is directed by Thomas Kremser, one of the world’s most respected tournament directors.
After 2 1/2 hours of Heads Up play we now have crowned Joris Springael of Belgium champion of the 2010 3LT Grand Final in Vienna. Joris went into the Heads Up with 1/3 of the chips of his opponent, Cristea Opria, but took the lead and control of the HU with one bad bluff from Cristea. One a board with 2sKcAc, Joris bet 200K and the Cristea called. The turn was 8c, Jorris bet 400K and Cristea raised to 1 million. After some time Joris went all in with nearly 1.6 million and Opria folds showing K3 off.
It's not even 20:00 and we have already reached Heads Up of the 3LT Grand Final. Alexander Debus of Germany is our 3rd place finisher tonight. Alex went out after going all in pre flop with AJ and was called by Cristea Opria holding AQ. The flop showed 793, the turn was a 5 and a 4 on the river could not save our German Everest Poker qualifier.
1. 1.455.000 Spingael
2. 2.301.000 Opria
3. 1.472.000 Debus (Everest Poker Online Qualifier from Germany)
Rutgar de Boer shoves all-in with A8 and Joris Springael pays with AJ. Joris wins the hand by completing the straight. Rutgar ranks 4th at the 3LT Grand Finale and receives 47.600 €.
Joris goes all-in preflop and Valentin decides to call. Joris Springael has KJ off and Valentin shows AJ off. Val in the lead but the board is J2K K 9 - Full house for Joris and Val is left with just 65K while sitting in the Big Blind.
In the next hand Val goes all-in with 89 suited, Cristea Opria calls with KX. First Val hits the 8 on the Turn but the King on the river gives the pot to Cristea. Val is our 5th finisher with € 34.940.
We start level 25 of the 3LT Grand Final with 5 players fighting it out for our first place prize of 132,680 €. Blinds are now up to 20,000/4,000 with a 400 ante. Here are the chipcounts of our remaining players:

At table 39 Peter Kamaras shoves all-in and Joris Springael pays.
At table 38 Yildiray Cam pushes his remaining 16,000 from the small blind all-in and Tobias von Siebenthal calls.
It was first played at table 39. Peter Kamaras had AcTh and Joris Springael shows AdKd.
The board showed 9h3dJc 4c 9c
Kamaras loses his chips and has to hope that now also Yildiray Cam will lose because then Kamaras would receive the prize money as he had more chips then Cam at the moment of the all-ins.
At table 38 Tobias von Siebenthal opens Qc2h. Yildiray shows Qs7s.
On the board: Kd8h10d Jh7d
This makes Peter Kamaras the unlucky bubble boy.

Ther soccer star from Germany showed great poker during the 3LT Final. Unfortunately is stack got smaller and smaller in the last level and he finally shoved his last chips with 33. He got called by a player who had pocket JJ and this was it.
Good Game Sergej!
First Leo loses 80 % of his stack with AA vs 22.
He is left with 10 BB and shoves all-in his last 22K with 88. He receives one call and another guy reshoves for 50K.
Leo has 88, one guy holds KJ and the other KK. Nobody hits on the board.
Now all of our hopes are set on Valentin who now has 120K. Go Val!!!!

It is 18:30 in Vienna and the 53 remaining players are going to have dinner now.
Our two French sponsored players Leo and Val are still in.
Both were seated at the feature table during the last levels.
Valentin has managed to come back to 66K and Leo has lost a little and is now on 77K.
Sergej Barbarez is constantly building up his stack. The German soccer star goes into the dinner break holding 145K in Chips. Keep going Sergej!
Level 11
800 - 1600 / 200
76 players left in the tournament
Sergej Barbarez has 110K in chips and is doing fantastic in this tournament. He told us during the break that he is being very patient and focused - seems to be working out.
The last two Everest Poker players are French players Leo and Val.
Leo Truche has a strong stack of 90K in chips.

Valentin Messino needs to build-up his stack as he currently only has 39K.

3LT Baden Champion Tobias von Siebenthal is still in with 43K. And 3LT Warnemuende Runner-up Christian Oswald holds about 49K.
Level 11
800 - 1600 / 200
79 players left in the tournament
Half an hour ago our Team Everest player Steven van Zadelhoff got eliminated from the tournament.
Also Italian Stallion Cristiano busted just before the break. He had KsQs with 3s6s8x on the flop. His opponent showed AA, no spades on the river.
The 2010 Live the Dream Team's Tobi Wagner started pretty short stacked with 18,600 and got involved in a coin flip in his second hand. He had AK and faced JJ - no help from the board. This is it for tobestar.
Many very good players got eliminated got eliminated from the tournament during the first day of the 3LT Grand Finale. We are happy that there are still some of our Everest family in the game like France's Leo Truche and Valenin Messina, Tobias Wagner from Germany, and Italy's Cristiano Blanco.
We are also very happy that our good friend, German soccer celebrity Sergej Barbarez is running very well and currently in 10th position. The Hungarian Rapstar Peter Majoros is also starting in day two. 3LT Warnemuende Runner-up Christian Oswald and Warnemuende 4th ranked have both made it to Day 2.

Lasse holds AQ and there are 5 players in the hand - one of them is Valentin.
At the end Lasse shoves his remaining 8K all-in.
The board shows AJ5 - A X
Val had pocket 55 and thus gathered Lasse's chips.

And this is what happened to MARIA MACEIRAS and VIKTORIA SZILASI
Maria was down to 10K when she decides to push all-in preflop. She shows AK and faces JJ of her opponent. Unfortunately, the board did not bring any help.
Viktoria has lost a couple of small pots in a row until she was also down to 10K. Just like Maria she wanted to seize her chance and pushes all-in preflop holding TT. And again the Jacks of an opponent brought the decision and Viktoria also was eliminated from the tournament.
And this is what happened to FABIEN PERROT and FABRICE SOULIER
Fabsoul had an unlucky start at the tournament and lost large hands right at the beginning. Unfortunately he could not recover and got eliminated shortly after.
Fabien startet at the feature table together with Leo Truche. He had lost a couple of small pots and with 11.2K he raises. Marvin Rettenmaier (winner of the SPT Grand Finale) calls from the Button. Fabien in the SB is holding AcQc and decides to 3bet with 1.7K, he receives a couple of calls and the pot grows to 7K. On the flop Tc 2c 5c, Fabien Cbets with 6k and is called once again. The K on the turn gives Fabien a gutshot and he also has a flush draw. But in the end Fabien was not lucky and it didn't work out.
