Day 4 of WPT Paris

Steven Van Zadelhoff finished in 11th place at the WPT Grand Prix de Paris!

After four days of tournament, Steven Van Zadelhoff finished 11th at the WPT Grand Prix de Paris and won €46,955!

The best players in the world competed in Paris for the WPT and our Team Everest player has performed excellently!

It was against the tournament chip leader, Theo Jorgenssen, that our player ended his time at the final table.

In the small blind position, Steven pushed all-in after a raise of 25,000 from Theo. He was called by 9 9 against his K Q.

Unfortunately, the board does not, help our Team Everest player:
T A 3 8 7

No doubt that we will continue to see great things from our excellent Dutch player at other tournaments and we congratulate him for this very good performance!

There are only 11 players remaining in the WPT Paris.

Patrick Bruel is out of the tourney and we are now at Level 19 with blinds at 5 000/10 000 and 1 000 Ante.

Steven has a surprise guest...Fabrice Soulier came down to support and congratulate his Team Everest teammate!

After the elimination of Bruno Lopez aka "Kool Shen" and Christopher Benzimra, there are only 14 players remaining in the semi finals of the WPT Paris.

The average is 529,285 chips and our Dutch player has 200,000 chips...he's ready to fight to reach the final table!

Two players are out, there are only 16 players remaining at the WPT Paris. The tables break to create two, each with 8 players.

A new level has been reached with the subsequent elimination of Michael Kwiek and Eric Haik.

There is one hour left to play in level 17 (3,000/6,000-500) and the 18 remaining players are already guaranteed to win €35,213!

The average chipcount is 411,666 and Steven has 230,000 chips.

Hello and Welcome to the coverage of the WPT Grand Prix de Paris 2010 at the Aviation Club de France.

247 players have started the tournament and there are only 25 players remaining for day 4 with an average of 296,400 chips. Each one of these players has one target: The Final Table!

Each level will last 90 minutes and there is a 15 minute break before each.
