Day 1B of WPT Paris

09/05/10 @ 09:10:30 am by Jerome

Update: Level 5, Blinds 150-300

Double up for Steven van Zadelhoff! The cut off bets 900, both button and small blind make the call. Steven shoves all in. The players on the cut off and the button quickly fold but the small blind seems make a tough decision. After a while of thinking, he decides to make the call with Q J. Stevens shows Q Q. Board: 4J73K

A couple of hands later we pick up the action again when Steven moves all in, he gets a call from a player holding A K. No sweat for Steven while the board is 48874.

Go Steven!

Update: Level 4, Blinds 150-300

After he lost a big pot, Fabrice Soulier busted with 7 8 against K Q. With a K and a Q on the flop, it was pretty clear that Fabrice was going to lose this hand.

The 105 remaining players are now on dinner break. After this break, they will play 2 more levels.

Update: Level 3, Blinds 100-200

Chip count:
Fabrice Soulier 20,000 chips
Steven van Zadelhoff 24,000 chips
Fransesco de Vivo 25,000 chips

Update: Level 2, Blinds 75-150

Fabrice Soulier won a big (9k) pot! Not a big deal? Well it is! He won this pot with a straight flush against a Q high flush, nice hand Fabrice!

Where is Fransesco de Vivo? He lost a couple of small pots and decided to go on an early break to charge his battery. Let's hope that after this break Fransesco will find his flow.

Steven van Zadelhoff takes it easy. "I have all the time!", he said.
