The Spanish Poker Tour is back for Season 3

09/04/10 @ 05:41:49 pm by Katie

Final update for Day 1:

Level 7
Blinds 200/400
Ante 50
Average 23,000

It's 4:30 am and we're ending Day 1 tired but strong. Most of the Everest Poker players are at average or above:

Team Everest:

Cristiano Blanco - 42,000
Steven van Zadelhoff - 36,000

Live the Dream Team:

Sigurd Eskeland - 35,000
Javi Martinez - 22,000
Tobi Wagner - 24,000
Koen de Bakker - 20,000
Francesco De Vivo - 28,000

Pablo Ubierna - 20,000
Luis Ubierna - 52,000
David Colin - 32,000

Both Viktoria and Thomas from the Live the Dream Team were out of the tournament in level 6. You can find them representing Everest Poker next in San Remo and at the WSOP in Las Vegas.

Update - 2:25
Level 5
Blinds 150-300
129 Players remaining

We lost Team Everest player Maria Maceiras in level 4. Maria was put in a tough spot when UTG raised 350 and Thomas Froslev from the 2010 Live the Dream Team reraised on the cut off to 1000. Maria called with 9's. The flop came Q45. UTG checked and Thomas bet 1500 to a pot of 3000. Maria, with 9500 chips, raised to 3500 and was then pot committed. UTG folded and Thomas moved all in implying he had a strong hand. Maria called anyway and Thomas showed A’s.

Team Everest Update:

Cristiano Blanco - 33,000

Steven van Zadelhoff - 25,000

Koen de Bakker - 20,000

Sigurd Eskeland - 46,000 - Doubled up A's vs K's.

Live Streaming the SPT Aranjuez

04/09/10 @ 02:10:00 pm by Melinda

In only a few minutes, it will be time to shuffle up and deal at the SPT Aranjuez — the first stop on the 2010 Spanish Poker Tour.

Over 100 players — many you see regularly at Everest's online tables — are playing for their share of a €150,000 guaranteed prize pool in one of Spain's royal destinations.

Be there for all the action during the SPT Aranjuez Main Event all weekend long. This year, Everest Poker will be broadcasting live from ALL SPT stops. It's the next best thing to being there.

Watch the SPT Live Stream now on the official Spanish Poker Tour website.

Don't miss out on the action next month, when the SPT arrives in Ibiza for the first time in the three-year history of the tour. Everest Poker is guaranteeing 8 seats every week with online qualifiers taking place on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The size of your bankroll means nothing at Everest Poker. Qualify for any live poker event or guarantee tournament with Everest for just $2 or more.

Buy-ins for SPT Direct Entries start at only $9, and you can always "climb" your way to Spain through the Everest Poker Steps.

Good luck to all our Everest Poker players in Aranjuez! Check back to the Everest Poker Blog all weekend long for more updates from the Spanish Poker Tour.
