It's been a long day, but day 1b of the EPT Berlin has come to a close. The day started with 557 players and we are now down to 290.

The level 9 blinds were 500-1000 with an ante of 100.

The average chip count was 56K.

Great news for The Big Viking! Sigurd is up to 40K, he won a huge pot with two pair against J's.

The Everest Poker Team has made it half way through day 1b of the EPT Berlin. They now return after a 90 minute break for more play.

We have just completed level 5 with all of our Everest Poker players still in.

Welcome to Pokerstar's EPT Berlin Day 2!

Starting today for Everest Poker are Team Everest's Maria Maceiras and Antoine Saout. Also, joining us from the Live The Dream Team are Francesco de Vivo, Sigurd Eskeland, Tobias Wagner, and Fabien Perrot. The exact number of today's players is unknown, but we do know that the event was sold out. Players start with 30K chips.

Level 2:
At the start of level 2 the blinds are at 75-100.
