WSOPE Day2 Final Update: Antoine and Kim on the slippery slope

28/09/09 @ 08:11:09 pm by Marco

Antoine and Kim suffered the last level of the tournament today. Antoine at the featured table lost a very big pot against Doherty and was down to 42k before doubling up and getting back into the game. He has 90k now. Below average but still enough to fight.

Kim Wooka, card dead, lingered around her stack of 40k for the whole day but she lost a 20k pot in the very last hand. She has 22k now.

We'll be back for Day3. After all, it's better to get lucky tomorrow than today.

WSOPE London Midnight Update: Antoine and Kim still in the hunt

28/09/09 @ 07:10:51 pm by Marco

Antoine is at the TV table! He lost a couple of big pots and he's down to 115k but he's under the spotlights again. He's battling at the featured table with Jason Mercier and Steve Zolotow.
Kim can't lift off his 45k stack. She's waiting for good opportunities but she also need some help from the cards.
We'll update as soon as we have (good) news.

WSOPE London Day2: Antoine draws Timoshenko, Kim sits with Devilfish and Kabbaj

28/09/09 @ 09:47:48 am by Marco

Day2 of WSOPE Main Event is about to begin. Our two Team Everest survivors were redrawn and they managed to avoid the "death tables" where chipleaders and poker superstars are bound to clash. They do not fear any player in the field, obviously, but they probably do not mind to face a little softer competition.

Antoine Saout is massive chipleader at his table with 144k. Only Brandon Adams (72k) and Peter Gould (70k) can seriously pose a threat to his stack. But Russian pro Yevgeniy Timoshenko (30k) is also dangerous.

Kim Wooka, with 42k in chips, has a tough table with John Kabbaj on her left (104k), Erik Friberg and Dave Ulliott on the right with 49k.
