"Saout"-Many Chips

With the board showing , Tom Schneider bet 125,000, and Antoine Saout raised to 400,000. Schneider thought for a good while, then finally made the call.
The river brought the . Schneider checked, and Saout bet 625,000. Schneider again thought a bit before making the call.
Saout turned over for the Broadway straight -- the nuts. Schneider showed his for a set of tens.
Saout now is up to 4.81 million, while Schneider slides down to 1.44 million.

The above hand was one of many that has catapulted Antoine "Tonio292" Saout into second place in chips. He will start the fourth level of the day with $5,281,000. With the chip lead less than $500,000 chips away from Antoine, this next level should be very interesting.
Dinner Time

The Amazon Room is empty now and all the players have gone on dinner break. There are 101 players left. All the players left are guaranteed $40,288 and they are slowly creeping closer to the November Nine.
Andreas "flikkflak" Flakstad will start the fourth level of the day with $1,250,000 chips.
Everest Qualifier "Tonio292" is Top 10 in Chips

We've completed two levels here in the Amazon Room at the Rio. The players just got back from at 20 minute break. The blinds are starting at $12,000/$24,000 with a $3,000 ante. The average stack in the room is $1,694,087 and there are 115 players left. The players will be on a 90 minute dinner break at the completion of this level.
"Flikkflak" sits at close to his starting stack of around $2,000,000 and "Tonio292" sits at about $3,000,000.
"Tonio292"

There was a monstrous pot just before the break between Joe Serock and Antoine Saout. We caught the action as Serock was contemplating calling the last of what appeared to be several bets before the flop, finally doing so with only to see Saout turn over . The pot exceeded 3 million.
The board came , and Serock tumbles all of the way down to 180,000. Meanwhile, Saout leaps up to 3.26 million.

Antoine "Tonio292" Saout has been moved to Phil Ivey's table recently and was seen by our photographer raking in a pot from Phil Ivey. He's helping all the Everest Qualifiers by adding to the $1 Million Dollar Match. Right now Everest Qualifiers are guaranteed $88,511.

Players are dropping left and right. It seems that every few minutes there is another announcement that a player has been knocked out. Both Everest Poker players, however, are holding strong.

The first level of play isn't even over yet and already 29 players have been eliminated and more have been eliminated since writing this. Antoine "Tonio292" Saout is making the other qualifiers money through the $1 Million Dollar Match. Day 6 of the 2009 WSOP Main Event is upon us. The day ended early yesterday for the players left. We had a few eliminations right before the end of play with actor Lou Diamond Phillips being the last person eliminated on the last hand of the night. 185 players will be back today at 12 PM to battle their way to the Final Table.
We start the day in Level 21. The blinds will be $8,000/$16,000 with a $2,000 ante. The average chip stack in the room hovers at about $1,000,000 chips and Warren Zackey starts the day as the chip leader with $4,872,000 chips.
Andreas "flikkflak" Flakstad and Antoine "Tonio292" Saout are still fighting for the prize. Flakstad has $2,090,000 chips and Saout is close to the average stack with $893,000 chips.

At the end of day 5 in the Mainevent of this years WSOP 185 players are left in the field. In the official chip count Andreas "flikklak" Flakstad from Norway holds position 19 with 2,090,000 chips. Antoine "Tonio292" Saout from France is with 893,000 still in a good position when game continues tomorrow at 12 noon Las Vegas time.
Both players have already cashed $36,626 each. We are only two days of play from the final table of this years WSOP Mainevent and we are very proud that we still have two strong players in the field, that might make a first Everest Poker WSOP Mainevent finale table appearance this November.
