Sometimes in poker, despite being friends or on the same 'team' as another player, you realize this game is a solo sport, and as such, you go to war with people wearing the same colors as you...we were waiting for a battle between Everest Poker Spain Qualifier 'QUEENSBOSS' and Everest Poker France Qualifier 'LocStaOnFire' and we finally got one
...here is the rundown of the first of potentially many rounds...
We came upon this hand between two Everest Players while it was in progress.
On the turn, board looked like this:
7h-5s-6s-Kh
LOCSTAONFIRE checked, and fellow Everest Qualifier, QUEENSBOSS bets out, and LOCSTAONFIRE called.
RIVER: Kd
LOCSTAONFIRE checked, and QUEENSBOSS bets 5,000. LOCSTAONFIRE hesitates, and calls, clearly not believing his fellow Everest Qualifier has anything. QUEENSBOSS reveals Ac-Qc, for pair of Kings with A-Q-7 kicker, proving LOCSTAONFIRE'S hunch right, as he really did not have much. Unfortunately for LOCSTAONFIRE, his opponent was bluffing with the best hand,
as the A-Q was better than LOCSTAONFIRE'S Ah-4h, for a pair of Kings and A-7-6 kickers.
