The Poker Sports Challenge is unlike any other poker tournament or sporting event you have seen before.
Everest Poker is hosting a 12-hour poker tournament where only the strong will survive.
Players from Everest and five Dutch and Flemish poker clubs will be battling it out to get their players to the final table and a chance to win a $13,000 WSOP Main Event prize package.
Each team will also participate in athletic contests to win extra chips. Winning a team sports challenge means even players who have gone out will receive chips, putting them right back into the action at the tables.

They both get to know a new island, she enjoyed a morning in the sun by the pool and, in the afternoon, he gets to play some live poker for free. While playing, she enjoys his company and the chance to earn a few thousand euros!
If he gets those Euros, she will get a present (probably a ring) and they will live happily ever after.
Poker improves your love life!

Cristiano Blanco was not happy with making one final table at the St Vincent Gran Prix in Italy - so he made TWO!
The Team Evererst wizard made 4th place (in the 550 euro buyin event, 159 players, winning 7,500 euros), and the day after he came 9th in the Main Event (1,100 euros buyin, 119 player and 5,500 euros).
It's the first time someone made two final tables in the 2 tournaments in this event.
LEGEND!
The EPEC, Sardinia, takes place this weekend & the Everest staff fly there tomorrow to make the place all nice for the players!
It's going to be a GREAT weekend. If you're playing, tell your friends they can follow the action here, at http://twitter.com/EVP_EPEC or Facebook 'EPEC Live Final'.
The weather looks fine so we just need you now...
Could this be you?
