Start of day 2 of the EPT Deauville – 2 Everest Poker players out.

248 poker players entered the arena of champions today to unleash their battling fury in order to reach first place worth 851,000 euro. At the coffee reunion Everest Poker organized for its players this morning, the Everest Poker players showed they were eager to meet the show down with equal eagerness.

Seated with 8 at a table, the 31 tables will face 8 levels of top level poker play. Top 64 will end up earning some cash. The others will for sure go home with a great story to tell and the pride of competing.

The tournament has just kicked into 2nd gear when Everest Poker player Daan 'krul' Slutter fell on the battle field of the brave. His pocket ‘66’ faced a pocket ‘AA’. The flop delivered a ‘6’, but joy showed too soon when the river showed an ‘A’.

Blinds are 400-800, Ante 100.

Krul’s starting stack was 7,100 chips. The average was at 26,000 chips. All considering a wonderful achievement from Krul to reach day 2. Great job. You defended the Everest Poker colors fantasticly and can return home head held high.

Not long after Krul’s departure martinlemot lost his 22,000 chips and had to leave the tournament too. Martinlemot did not hesitate to praise the organization and the warm welcome he received from Everest Poker. Proud he returned home with pockets full of experience and a mind overflowing with great memories of the past 2 days.
