Newest Enhancements.

03/13/08 @ 05:56:39 pm by Sandrine

Everest Poker is extremely excited to introduce some of newest enhancements. I know you have been waiting for a long time for them and here they are! This is a long post but it is worth to read it!

Tournament Leaderboard (TLB):

This is an exciting new feature which will create a competition among our best and most frequent tournament players and pay out significant prizes to the winners.
The TLB will rank our top tournament players based on TLB Points earned. TLB Points are calculated using the number of tournament entrants, finishing place, and tournament buy-in using the following equation:

Example: You participate in a $10+1 tournament with 150 players and take 3rd place:

We have created three separate Tournament Leaderboards :

1. Multi-Table (rewarded monthly): Includes all Scheduled Tournaments + Sit & Go tournaments with >= 30 players
2. Sit & Go High (rewarded weekly and monthly): Sit & Go Tournaments with pot contribution >= $10 and participation < 30 players
3. Sit & Go Low (rewarded weekly and monthly): Sit & Go Tournaments with pot contribution more than $0 but less than $10 and participation < 30 players
Freerolls, Private Tournaments, Free Chip Play, and tournaments with Summit Point prize pools don’t count towards the TLB include
We will award Summit Point Prizes to the top 10 finishers on each leaderboard. The monthly SNG High winner will be credited with 200,000 SP.

Each leaderboard will be displayed on our website and will be updated daily. You can also be able to view your TLB points from the “View TLB Points” button from the “My Account:” button in the EVP lobby.

More Sit and go !!

We have added a list of new Multi-Table SNG’s :
o 18 seats (6 seats * 3 tables)
o 30 seats (10 seats * 3 tables)
o 54 seats (6 seats * 9 tables)
o 90 seats (10 seats * 9 tables)
o 120 seats (6 seats * 20 tables)
o 150 seats (10 seats * 15 tables)

In addition to Multiple Tables, SNG’s can now be run with a variety of types. These include:

Rebuy
Rebuy + Add-on
6 Seat
Turbo (decreased blind intervals)
Speed (decreased decision time limit)
Deep Stack (2,500 starting chips)

To make it easy to distinguish between the different types of tournaments, we will have separate icons as well as a "Tournament Type" Legend to demonstrate to players what the different symbols mean.

Ring Game Enhancements:

We have also released some new features that ring game players will enjoy. There are 2 new ring game table types:

1. Speed tables. This is a table with shortened (15 second) decision timers.

All speed tables are also No-DBP tables. Speed tables will initially be offered in 6 seat tables at the following stakes: $.10/$.10, $.25/$.25, $.50/$.50, $1/$1, $2/$2, $4/$4.

2. No-DBP (tables without disconnect bet protection).
The Beginner Stakes No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha tables are becoming No-DBP tables. Also, No-DBP Tables are being created for all 2-seat and 6-seat No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha tables.

In addition, you can now play in up to 12 tables at the same time. Lots of players requested this increase, and so we upped the maximum. Check the poker free games that Everest offers to his and her players.
