EPT Dortmund Day 1A : 4 Everest Players qualified for the day2!!!

Very good performance for all of our players, especially four of them who will have the chance to be there on thursday.

Leroy is our "K1 fighter of the day" (like Semmy Schilt or Remy Bonjasky from The Netherlands as well). He was down to 1,300 on the blinds 200-400 and he's still sit with now around 14,100.

Sandro (itto) is down now to 13,000 but he will be there tomorrow and that was his first objective.

And our two french guys, Thibaut (popotib) and Jordane (jo.x) have 33,600 and 26,000 and they are quite good for tomorrow.

EPT Dortmund Day 1A : Elimination of Johannes Korsar

Our Lossejay, Swedish player Johannes Korsar is out.

After a succession of battles of blinds with the player on his left, he called the all-in of his opponent with AJ and the other player held AT but a ten came on the flop et Johannes will not do the same performance as his 5th place in the WSOPE.

EPT Dortmund Day 1A: Cristiano is OUT!!!

Unfortunatly Cristiano Blanco went just out of the tournament at 22:50

On a flop 723 rainbow, he attacks half of the pot and gets called by Mats Iremark (EPT Deauville 2005 Winner).

The Turn is a 6 and Cristiano attacks again and is called once again by Iremark.

The river is another 7 and Cristiano took his time to move all-in and was immediatly called by his opponent for the nut straight.

He's very upset about his move, he wanted to go far in this tournament.

Don't worry Cristiano, we will see you soon in another final table!!!

9 Everest Poker players have won their seats for this new European tournament and 8 are playing today.

Here is a quick presentation of all of them:

Cristiano Blanco (Lalanco1) is coming back on the land of his success. The media (the Italian ones) are expecting a lot of him. His eyes were shining when Thomas Kremser said the traditional “shuffle up and deal “. He publicly announced that we wanted to have a better result than last year when he finished in second place, for 380.000 euros.

Leroy Soesman is a lucky guy and he knows that. Winner of a big TV show in the Netherlands, he will attend his first EPT. But no big deal for him, he seems not to feel the pressure. This big guy has such a great smile that everybody who stays with him will have the same immediately. This is not very common at a poker table. We hope that he could keep it until the end.

Johannes Korsar, LooseJay is not an unknown poker player. Swedish, he just finished 5th in the last World Series of Poker Europe in London last September. Very relax before the tournament; he really wants to do something special here in Germany.

Patrice Roussel, maltor85, is attending his first major tournament but for him it’s more like a gift than anything else. He told us that he will still be here on Saturday. We all hope so!!!

Thibault Durand, popotib was more nervous than the other Everest Poker players but his recent results on our Website and in some poker clubs in Paris should help him to be more confident.

Sandro Simon, Itto, is our local hero. He’s from Bochum, only 20 km from the Dortmund Casino. He was a really good kart driver when he was younger. He just quit his job 2 months ago in order to live his dream of poker player. Very nice and very active, he told us that this is the beginning of a dream to be there.

Jordane Beraldin, jo.x, comes from Saint-Etienne, France. He seems to be a little bit shy but he’s not the same guy at all when his chips talk for him. He definitely wants to go to the second day, this is his primary objective.
