Over 120 Players Compete for Final Italian Seat to the EPEC

Last Saturday, May 28 over 120 players competed in Milan for the last live tournament seat for Italy to the EPEC.

Antonio Lerario (screenname=larry_84) won the seat and travel expenses for the Everest Poker European Championship taking place on September 9 at the Casino de Barcelona. Claudio Vincenzi placed second with Petazzi Gigi (screenname=gigsan) placing third.

There are still Italian seats available through online satellites. Open the Everest Poker software and go to the Multi-Table Tournaments area to see the latest schedules.


Scheveningen, The Netherlands Event Qualifies 3rd Dutch Player for the EPEC

Another Dutch player qualified for the EPEC finale in Barcelona at an event in Scheveningen, The Netherlands. Almost 80 players came to compete for a seat at this event.

Everest Poker player "CrazyCards" took first placing securing his chance to represent Holland at the European Championship. "Rbreukers" did well placing second with "allminh" showing a strong performance and placing 3rd.

The final live event for Holland will be June 4 in Amsterdam. See the Dutch Blog for more details.


Live EPEC Events in Sweden Conclude Sending 3 More Players to the Finale

On Friday, May 26, over 120 players participated in the final live EPEC event for Sweden in the town of Nyköping.

Chabo Sabor (screenname=chocho2), Simon Sauma (screenname=Sifoon), and Magnus Lind (screenname=Mangelind) won seats to the finale in Barcelona this September.

"Credit" Beats Mickey Wernick at WHUC in Barcelona!

"Credit" pulled out another amazing win after over 5 hours of play today. He beat out Mickey Wernick, a professional and ranked poker player from the UK. He had his lucky Everest Poker lighter on hand for the entire thing!

Tomorrow he plays in the third round against Thierry Cazals from France who placed 5th at the European Poker Tour finals March 11, 2006 in Monte Carlo.

Paolotto unfortunately was knocked out of the tournament by Isaac de Vega from Spain. But congratulations for making it so far!!

Record Number of German Players Turn Out for Frankfurt Event

Over 250 people competed at the Frankfurt, Germany qualifier for the EPEC, hoping to represent Germany this September at the Everest Poker European Championship final.

Marijo Mikulic (screenname: Mikulic) placed first & won a seat at the EPEC

Ayhan Selvi (screenname: donayhan) placed third


Competition is Fierce at Swedish EPEC Tournament

Last Saturday in Kristianstad, Sweden 120 players competed for a seat the EPEC 50,000 euros finale in Barcelona this September.

The top 3 players each won a seat to represent Sweden. Johan Elvstrand from Kristianstad took first place, Mattias Åkesson from Kristianstad took second, and Dennis Andersson from Fjälkinge took third.


Turin, Italy qualifies Italian Player for EPEC

Over 70 players turned out at the private bridge club, "BRIDGE IDEA," to compete to represent Italy at the EPEC.

First place went to Diego Cavalla while Giulio Asterita took second and Matteo Malvino third.


4 French Players Win Their Way to Barcelona

Last weekend, almost 200 French poker players competed to represent France at the Everest Poker European Championship.

Everest Poker players "polpif" and "_amnesiac_" won the Bordeaux event while Everest Poker players "Nicolas" and "Christian" won a tough field in Marseille.

Everest Italy Goes to the Second Round at WHUC

Everest Player "paolotto" wins his first round at the World Head's Up Championship in Barcelona, beating out Santiago Lopez Gonzalez, a strong local Spanish player.

That means both Everest Poker Italian players play today in the second round!

"credit" will play Mickey Wernick from England who is a well-ranked professional player.

3 Everest Poker players win seats for WPT-Paris!

Congratulations to Everest Poker players Asheru (from France), abbas23 (from Germany), and gabatch (from France) who came out on top in the WPT Paris Direct Entry tournament yesterday. All 3 won $14,000 prize packages to play in the World Poker Tour at the world famous Aviation Club de France.

Everest Poker player "credit" or Valentino Pedron from Italy successfully beat out Per Sjogren (Sweden)to win his first round today at the World Head's Up Championship in Barcelona. He will play in the second round starting on Tuesday afternoon.

2 More Swedes Going to EPEC

Sweden had its third qualifying round in Wirsbo, Sweden on May 13th at the club Wirsbo Pokersällskap.

The two strongest players at this event were Daniel Olsson and Peter Lindström who each won a seat at the final in September.

Holland qualifies first player to attend EPEC

The first EPEC qualifier in Holland took place yesterday, Sunday, May 14 in IJsselstein, The Netherlands.

Everest Poker player "Gobogobo" from Utrecht beat out his opponents to win his place at the Everest Poker European Championship in Barcelona this September.

"RDKe" from Maastricht placed second while "ArjanS" from Rotterdam placed third.

The next Dutch event will be this Sunday, May 21 in Groningen, The Netherlands.

German Player from Leipzig Qualifies for EPEC

Dirk Henig from Zescherndorf, Germany won the Leipzig, Germany EPEC Qualifier, securing his place representing Germany at the EPEC.

Rene Liebau from Reitenbach came in second and Thomas Hubrich from Dresden placed third.

There are three more German qualifiers in Regensburg, Frankfurt and Potsdam.


Gothenburg, Sweden Qualifier Sends 1 more Swedish Player to the EPEC

Tobias Eriksson won the Gothenburg, Sweden qualifier to secure a seat representing Sweden at the Everest Poker European Championship. Tobias is from Stockholm.

Charles Elisson from Gothenburg placed second while Rickard Sollander from Gothenburg placed third.


Cagliari, Italy sends first player to EPEC

Congratulations to Zonar Rajovich for winning the Everest Poker European Championship Qualifier in Cagliari, Italy held on Saturday, May 6.

With over 75 people participating and over 100 attending, the first stop on the Italian qualification tour was overwhelmingly successful.

Luciano Marongiu came in second place while Alba Roberto came in third.

Next stop, Milano!


Everest Holds Live Tournament in Stuttgart, Germany

Congratulations to Everest Poker player, Stefan Schmidt who beat out over 200 players to take first place in an Everest Poker live event in Stuttgart, Germany on Sunday, April 30.

Everest Poker players Elias Kramer placed 2nd while Christian Stöhr placed third.

The event took place in the city center at the Mecure Spielothek and was organized by the German Poker Players Association.

Online Freeroll Schedule Announced!

Everest Poker is pleased to announce the online freeroll schedule for the Everest Poker European Championship.

Online Freerolls:

These tournaments are only for the residents of the specific country listed. For instance, only French players will be allowed to win the "France" tournament. "All of Europe" tournaments are open for all residents of Europe. All tournaments will open for registration on the day of the tournament. The winner of each tournament will receive a package worth €900: an entry to the championship event in Barcelona worth €500, and €400 worth of travel money. Good luck!

All tournaments start at 18:00 GMT, unless otherwise noted.

Everest Launches First Live Events in Spain

Everest Poker launched its first live poker event in Madrid, Spain on Sunday, April 30. Over 50 Spanish poker players participated in this free roll.

Everest Poker player "Janzor80" and "Luque1980" tied for first with player "Ismaelpsx2" placing third.

Everest Poker will be launching a series of live events later this month that enable Spanish players to qualify for the Everest Poker European Championship.


Stockholm, Sweden sends 2 players to EPEC

The first two Sweden seats to the Everest Poker European championship were won by Everest Poker players "ichmich" and "MrD83" on Saturday, April 30 in Stockholm.

Over 80 players competed at the Klubb Parti to represent Sweden in the first Everest Poker European Championship.

The next Sweden event will take place on May 6 in Gothemburg.
